On paper it was a simple match to win, maybe even without shining and AC Milan secure yet another win while offering a first minute opportunity to many subs.
Gennaro Gattuso can be happy, he may not have seen the best performance of recent times, however those who have returned to play from the first minute after a long period on the bench, have given some comforting signals. Yesterday Milan lacked many key players but the commitment of the so-called alternatives was not lacking against the Ludogorets.
As usual La Gazzetta dello Sport publishes the ratings for all Milan players part of yesterday’s match at San Siro. Riccardo Montolivo, the former captain of the Rossoneri, is considered the best of the match (6.5) due to his solid performance with interesting vertical plays. The same rating also for Franck Kessie, a fundamental element of the midfield, and for a Fabio Borini who never stops running and scores his third goal in the last three games in the Red and Black.
A positive outing for Antonio Donnarumma who holds a clean sheet with some good saves in the second half. Among the “new” faces, solid game for Cristian Zapata and the revived Jose Mauri. The worst? A flop worthy of a 5 for Andre Silva, still unable to find the back of the net, while Manuel Locatelli commits too many errors to deserve more than a 5,5.
